Germans Cut To Shreds by Bayonet
Rec. 11.45 p.m. London, Aug. 21. "We went in strong with the bayonet and cut them to shreds," were the words used by LieutenantColonel Lord Lovat, who led the Commandos who destroyed the German battery at Varengville.
