Stratford Music Society
An English evening was presented by members of the Stratford branch of the British Music Society on Monday. The reading of "Whitecliffs," by Mrs. Hinde and Miss Black was interspersed with musical items. The programme was: Vocal solo, "For England, "Phantom Fleets," "Floral Dance, ^ Mr. Morgan : violin solo, "American Airs." ; "Welsh Airs," "Gavotte." Mr. A. Bonetti ; I piano duet, "In England." Misses J. Burnes and G. Galbraith : vocal solos. "May Dew." j "When the Heart is Young," Miss M. _Gallo- j way ; vocal solo, "Anprels Guard Thee, Mrs. | Bonetti : piano solo, "The Brook," Mrs. Gaw ; ; vocal duets, "The Moon Hath Raised Her j Lamp." "I Love You Truly," Mrs. Bonetti and Mr. Morgan: piano solo, "Shepherd s ! Dance." Mrs. Bonetti ; vocal solo. "Land oi Hope and Glory," Mrs. Davis : niano duet, "Hexentanz," Mrs. Bonetti and Mrs. Gaw.
