Tree-Planting Ceremony

A tree-planting ceremony took place at the Opunake District Hign School yesterday. when 34 pupils. 10 primary and 24 secondary, planted m the school grounds trees and shrubs they had purchsssd Mr. D. G. Maxwell, Rahotu, the Mayor. Mr. G. C. Clouston, and members of the school committee were present. An address was given by Mr. Maxwell, who demonstrated the planting of trees. School pupils sang "Where er You Walk.
