Chainey and Mr. and Mrs. G. Cook, with extras by Mrs. McNabb and Mr. R. Mersh (piano acoordion). Euchre prfsewinners were Mrs. H. Bayiy and Mr. Hiseht. The chairman of the patriotic committee, Mr. R. Burgham. said Private Harris hld been in hospital at Stratford since Deeembsr. Nurse Gwenda Aneell. who was the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Ancell, has returned to Porirua. Mr. and Mrs. E. Gordon, Stratford, are living at Toko. Mr. and Mrs. Smith have left Toko. Mrs. D. Clemow hss returned from a holiday at Urenui and Waitara. Nurse Everest, of the staff of the Stratford hospital. has beeh the guest of Mr. and M r ; ■' H. Milne. „ . Mr. and Mrs. Palmer are living at Wanganui. i
