PLAY AT NGAMOTU

In the semi-finals of the captain's trophy competed for by members of the r.ew Plymouth Golf Club, W. R. Fuller beat H. W. Kirkby and R. G. Knight beat G. T. Champion. Knight, who has shown marked improvement in his game this season, was too good for Fuller in the final, beating him by 2 up and one to play. An individual bogey competition was played on Saturday in conjunction with the first round of the championships. T. Jeffery, who played an excellent round of 74. returned a card which showed 3 up. This was easily the best card of the day and annexed the trophy for the senior division. The trophy for the junior division was won by W. T. Wood with a score of 4 down.
