SELECT HAWERA ENTRY 93 ARISTOCRATIC SIRES

JJAWERA will be the flocal point on Wednesday for breeders and dairy farmers, who are seeking a sire combining true Jersey type and high butterfat backing to place at the head of their herds v-ith a view to increasing production so necessary at the present time for at Hawera on Wednesday the second of the series of pedigree bull fairs, that of the Hawera Jersey Cattle Club, will be conducted by Newton King Ltd. and the Farmers' Co-op. Organisation Society of New Zealand Ltd. in conjunction. The fair has attracted a very high class offering of 93 herd sires from nineteen leading breeders in North and South Taranaki and Wanganui, who have entered outstanding representatives, incorporating the best imported and New Zealand blood and hacked by very high butterfat performances, with the result that numerically and also for quality, butterfat backing and constitution, the catalogue each entry in which has come under the careful scrutiny of an expert for type, development and condition, is considered to be the best ever offered by the club. The sale will commence promtply at 11,30 a.m. in the Glover Road sale pavilion, Hawera, and as some aiustocratically bred herd sires appear early in the catalogue intending buyers should be present as soon as the auctioneer takes up the hammer.
