SQUADRON LEADER COOK Advice that Flight-Lieuienant R. N. Cook has been promoted squadron leader has been received from Britain by his parents. Mr. and Mrs, H. N. A. Cook, New Plymouth. After leaving thc New Plymouth Boys' High School where he was a prefect and a rnember of the first fifteen. Squadron Leader Cook held a short-.service conimission on the North-west Frontier. Two vears ago-he was home on leave. afterwards going lo Britain as a Royal Air Force instructor.
