Out of the Hat Ballot. Two brotbers,, Messrs. A. B. Muggeridge. Manutahi, and F. Muggeridge. Kaupokonui, drew for positions on the committee of management of the Federation of Taranaki Co-operative Dairy Factories at the annual meeting at Stratford on Saturday. The Muggeridge brothers for the past season had held the two seats on the committee as representatives of dairy companies shipping through Patea. On Saturday they retired by rotation and were automaticaily eligible for re-elec-tion. A third nominee. Mr. W. G. Belton, Patea, had also entered the field. Put to the vote, the issue resulted in a majority for Mr. Belton. but Messrs. A. B. and F. Muggeridge polled equal votes. The brothers' names were then placed in a hat and drawn, resulting in the seat going to Mr. F. Muggeridge.
