OEO DISTRICT NEWS
The death has occurred of Mr. Frank 1 Simpson snr., for many years a resiclent on Oeo Road, and recently on the Main South Road. Earlier in the year Mr. and Mrs. Bell left to live at Raetehi, and Mr. and Mrs. Dahenden and family left to live ncar New Plymouth. Before their departures a farewell was tendered them by - thc combined social club and hall committee. on both of which botlies Messrs. Bell and Dahenden had served since thcy came to live in Ihe district. A presentation of a travelling rug was made to each member. Mr. and Mrs. Bcrt Muggeridge have left to live at Hawera. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Simpson jnr. have taken up residencc at Oeo. Mr. and Mrs. Abbie Hughes have taken up residencc on the Oeo Road. Mr. and Mrs. Bullot and family have taken up residencc at Oeo. as have Mr. and Mrs. Clarey and Mr. and Mrs. Tocker and family. Mrs. Wood, who has been the guest of her mother, Mrs. Wheeler, for some months has left for her home. Mr. V. Bevan, who until going into camp was engaged at the Oeo factory, was farewelled by members of the social club and presented with a wristlet watch from residents. Mr. and Mrs. K. West have gone to live at Otakeho.
