Colson), which, by its numerous show successes ind butterfat records, is now clearly deonstrating the success of the policy followed in incorporating the best strains for production and quality, has rCserved for Hawera three two-year-olds and seven well-grown yearlings all in splendid condition, which will leave their mark on any herd. Two of the two-year-olds are by Pinewood's Merry Owler. full of Monopoly blood. on the sire's side and out of Rewa .Merribird. C.O.R. 4481b fat, O.H.T. 4481b fat (285 days) and 4441b fat (240 days), winner of several championships. Glenara Flora, dam of Glenara Valley. Owl, has three herd tests up to 4121b "fat. while Glenara Dove. dam of Glenara Buttermaker, has G.H.T. 4001b fat (351 days) at three vears. Three are by Silverley's Brampton Sir (Brampton Royal Rexmore (imp.) — Silverley's Fern's Queen. C.O.R. 4481b fat at two years). The dam of the two-year-old Glenara Fairy 's Eminent. Hua Brook Fairv Princess. C.O.R. .43Ib fat. at six years. combines the strains of Mourier's Oxford Noble (imp.) and Victor's Handsome Prince (imp.). Kyra, the dam of the yearling Glenara Friendly Sam. has a C.O.R. 5681b fat as a junior two-year-old. while Glenara Seaweed. dam of Glenara Village Knight. has three G.H.T. records up to 4121b fat in 305 days. Three of the yearlings are by that great son of Brampton Standard Dance (imn.l. Maori Pomare, whose first four daughters under O.H.T. averaged over 4101b fat in 305 days. Glenara Worthv Chief is out of that ereat. producer. Penrose Eetty. V.H.C. 811.321b fat at 11 years. Glenara Sargcnt is out. of Glenara Tulip. V.H.C. 4191b fat in 263 davs. while Glenara Success is out of Glenara Senora. three G.H.T. records up to 4481b fat in 278 days. The yearlins Glenara Success is by Glenara 'Gold Shot. a son of Silverley's Bramnton Sir. and Mountain Meadows Elf. V.H.C. 7691b fat in 355 davs. and the yearling Glenara Bramnton Success. whose dam. Hua Brnok Espinata. has a C.O.R. 6o61b fat in 315 days at seven vears (maternal sister to Mourier's Oxford Joy. 906.111b fat), is by Glenara Standard Prince, a son of Maui Pomare out of Meon Overjoy. C.O.R. 4961b fat at two years. In fact the dams of the 10 bulls average 5161b fat in .77 davs. Glenara Stud was runner-un for points prize at, both Hawera and New Plymouth and also winner of both senior and hreeding junior groups at New Plymouth.
