ELTHAM
Lady Carncross was hostess at bridge on Thursday evening. Mrs. J. Gover, Matiere, is the guest of Mrs. R. H. Gover. Mrs. W. Smith is spending a holiday at Marton. Mrs. J. Gardner is visiting Feilding. Mrs. Hanna, Christchurch, is spending a holiday at Eltham and is the guest of Mrs. H. Gover. Eltham visitors to Stratford for the club evening on Wednesday night included Mesdames J. Morton, J. C. Best, A. S. Willan, J. Sulzberger, G. and P. Brown, C. C. Stanners, A. Craig, C. and G. Pease and P. de Launay. Mrs. A. McWilliam was hostess at afternoon tea during the week. Mrs. P. Syme was hostess at bridge on Monday afternoon. Mrs. C. S. Rush entertained friends at tea on Friday afternoon.
