STRATFORD QUOTATIONS Stratford market prices showed, little change during the week. Auction rates for poultry showed the usual variations. Yesterday's quotations were:— Fruit: Apples, 3s 9d to 5s half bushel; 6s to 12s 6d a bushel, 3d to 5d lb; bananas. 6d lb; pears, 8d lb; lemons, 2s dozen; oranges, 2s, 2s 6d and 3s dozen; New Zealand grapefruit, 4 and 5 ls; Island tomatoes, ls 2d lb. Vegetables: Potatoes, 81b ls; cabbages, 4d to Sd each; spring cabbage, 4d -to 8d each; lettuce, 3d and 4d each; kumeras. 6d lb; onions. 41b for ls; cauliflowers, 6d to ls Gd; celery, 8d to ls a head; beetroot, 3d a bundle; parsnips, 3d a bundle; carrots. 3d a bundle; pumpkins, 3d lb. Ham: Whole, uncooked, ls 5d; cooked and sliced, 2s 3d lb. Bacon: Shoulder, ls 4d lb; side, ls 6d 1\ Butter: Factorv first grade ls Gd, dairy ls 2d to ls 4d lb.
