OWLER OF PUKETAPU TRIO Three well grown two-year-olds that are certain to attract attention are being submitted on behalf of Mr. H. W. Martin of the Tarnagower Stud. Mokau. They are all by Tarnagower Bonny Owler, a son of Ku Ku Bonny Owler C.B.B. with 10 C.O.R. daughters up to 7391bs. fat and winner of many championships He is one of the best son s of that great CB.B. Owler of Puketapu, sire of 28 CO.R. daughters, including Js.u Ku Delightful, 7151bs. fat at 4 years. Tarnagower Bonny Owler s dam. Penrose Girlie, had an O.H.T. of 400 lbs. fat, her dam having a C.O.R. of 5851J?f- ^ ' Tarnagower Bonny Owler was reserve champion at the Otorohanga show on the onlv time that he was shown, so that the strain is very prepotent. Tarnagower Glad Owl, one of the two-year-olds under offer, is out of Tarnagower Gaiety riri with a G.K.T. of 3351bs. fat m 291 days at three years old. Tarnagower Bonny Prince is out of another commended cow Pride of Tarnagower that did 3491bs. fat in 250 days under G.H.T. A great dairy cow with plenty of room and a perfect vessel, it had been mtended to place her under C.O.R. but the application was declined owing to the distance from the centre. Last m the catalogue and an inducemen for enthusiasts to stay to the end is Tarnagower Cream Owl, whose dam Creamy gained her H.C. at 14 years in a bad season. Three of her daughters tested 3491 bs, fat in 250 days, 3081bs. in 302 days, and 3041 bs. in 278 days.
