Muritai was founded on some of the best Ngahiwi butter-fat strains. Three of the yearlings are by Meon Nestor (Brampton Dreaming Sam — Pinewoods' Golden Stella, G.U.K. 5331b. fat at two years). Nine of Nesta's daughters. seven in their hrst or second lactations. averaged 3661bs. fat under ordinary herd conditions last season. which was not a good production year Ngahiwi Lorna. the dam of Muritai Speculator, is a consistent producer up to 7061bs. fat in 231 days. She is by Ngahiwi Gold Jacket.. sire of 26 C.O.R. daughters. out of a granddauehter of Ngahiwi Silent. Knight, sire of 46 C.O.R. daughters. The dams of Muritai Select and Spotlight are hy Silent Knight and Gold Jacket respectively.
