E. Jury was the winner of section C in the pairs championship of indoor bowling at the Queen's hall, New Plymouth, last night. Results were: Jury 4 wins, Whiting and Hawkins 3, Boon and Summerell 2, Lowe and Peel 1, Mrs. Paynter 0. The draw for the first round of section D, to commence to-night at 6.45, is: Preston v. Mrs. Smith, Gernhoefer v. Day, Meek v. Okey, West v. Wheeler.
