STRATFORD TITLE GAMES
Some matches in the first round of the Stratford Golf Club's charnpionship have already been played. In the senior division, R. Strachan, last year's winner, had a comfortable victory over J. Kilgarrif, whose putting was not up to his usual standard. Among the junior, D. Butcher accounted for J. Fellows, W. Williams for W. Thorpe and D. Childs for S. Rea, after some interesting games. It will not be surprising to see some of these plaj ers reaching the final. The senior charnpionship, at this stage, appears to be very open, but after the coming week-end there will be further light as the first round is due for completion then.
