WOMEN'S DIVISION
Tututawa: At the monthly meeting Mrs. Wallace presided over a good attendance of members. Mrs. Jacobsen and Miss M. Jacobsen, New Plymouth, were welcomed as visitors. Members voted £10 for the Spitfire fund, the money to be sent to headquarters. A competition for the best article suitable for the Lady Galway Guild and made from one yard of material was won by Miss A. Stevenson. Mrs. Reg Phillips won the wandering shilling. The best bloom competition was won by Mrs. G. Alcock. A parcel of garments for the Lady Galway Guild was collected from members. A d?zen jug covers were also sent to the Red Cross. Afternoon tea hostesses were Mrs. A. Johnstone and Mrs. W- Jacobsen. Makahu: The September meeting was held in the hall. Mrs. M. P. Ford presided. The monthly competition was won by Mrs. Hopkirk 1, Mrs. M. P. Ford 2. A wandering shilling was won by Mrs. O. Frank. Hostesses were Mesdames Hopkirk and Hodgson.
