WAITARA COURT

DEFAULT JUDGMENTS Judgment by default was given by Mr. W. H. Woodward. S.M., in the following claims at Waitara yesterday:— Beckbessinger Bros. v. G. C. Farquhar, £17 18s, 5d (costs £2 16s); G. Sampson £6 8s (15s 6d), in default six days' imprisonment, warrant scuspended on payment of £1 a month; Fly Taixaiari to pay J. Winstanley £4 8s, in default four days' imprisonment; F. W. Peters to pay V. C. Tate £6 ls (15s 6d) before October 25, in default six days' imprisonment; T. Eriwata to pay H. I. Chittenden £9 15s (15s 6d), in default seven days' imprisonment; J. Crow to pay F. C. Fenton £12 4s 8d (£1 ls), in default 10 days' imprisonment; R. Terry to pay L. J. Rattenbury £11 5s 2d (15s 6d), in default 10 days' imprisonment, warrant suspended on payment of £1 a month; J. Thompson to pay A. L. Fowler £14 11s 2d (£1 ls), in default 10 days' imprisonment. warrant suspended on payment of £2 a month; Kiwi Ngati to pay M. Erceg £10 0s 6d (15s 6d), in default seven days' imprisonment, warrant suspended on payment of £2 a month; Keith Skipper to pay M. Erceg £8 3s 6d (15s 6d), in default seven days, warrant

suspended on payment of £1 per week; J. O'Carroll to pay A. L. Fowler £21 13s 6d (£1 11s 6d), in default 14 days' imprisonment, warrant suspended on payment of £1 10s a month S. Raumati to pay M. Erceg £10 Os 6d (15s 6d), in default seven days' imprisonment, warrant suspended on payment of £2 a month. Traffie Breaches. Doris Hetherington and Eric Raymond, charged with not having warrants of fitness, were fined 10s, costs 17s, each. For riding a motor-cycle without a silencer Laurence Rex Fraser was ordered ; j pa j' costs 17s.
