FAREWELL TENDERED

YOUNG STRATFORD MEN A farewell was tendered on Wednesda.v night by Mesdames A. B. Speck and Jefferies, Stratford, to Messrs. T. Jefferies. A. Faine and S. Speck, who will shortly enter camp with the fourth reinforcements. There was an attendance of 60 guests, and the evening was spent in dancing and cards. Songs were given by Miss Rankin, Mr. Crosby being the accompanist. Mr. G. C. Grace extended the thanks of those present to Mesdames Speck and Jefferies and referred to the imminent departure of Messrs. Faine, Speck and Jefferies, and eulogised thcir good qualities in their business and community activities. Mr. Speck apologised for the absence of Mr. Jefferies, senr. who was indisposed.
