Dakar Operations Continue. Operations at Dakar are continuing, it is stated at London. Discontent in France. Severe rationing imposed by Germany has caused great discontent in France. Japanese-German Pact. Japan and Germany are reported to have agreed in principle to a defensive pact. French Raid Gibraltar. French planes which bombed Gibraltar dropped 100 bombs in a raid that lasted four hours. Japan Continues Invasion. Japan is continuing her attack on Indo-China, having begun operations on a new front. New Zealanders In Brltain. New Zealand troops in England have further improved plans "or striking hard and quickly when needed. Berlin Pounded. Gasworks and power stations, were the principal targets o£ the Royal Air Force in a long pounding of Berlin. Propagandists Anxious. German propagandists appear to be becoming anxious about the lack of credence given to their figures, even at home. Day and Night Raids. Heavy explosions on the French coast indicated that. the Royal Air Force was following its night attack with a daylight raid. High-Flying Nazis. Some forward aerodromes in"England are not used becau?e fighters from them cannot gain sufficient height to meet Nazi raiders.
