NEW PLYMOUTH PARKS
PRAISE FROM OVERSEAS New Plymouth parks and rcserves were pralsed in a ietter received by Mr. E. R. C. Gilmour, Mayor of New Plymouth, from Mr. D. R. Grenfell, C.B.E., J.P., and Labour member for the Gower Division of Glamorganshire. "The paeket of New Zealand seeds you sent has just been delivered and I hasten to express my thanks for the kind thought which moved you to entrust them to me." states the letter. "I shall see that they are carefully sown and given a chance to start tlieir life on British soil. I shall always remcmber tlic kindness extended to me during my hurricd visit to New Plymouth and the grcat interest in the gardcns and lovely littlc parks of the town itsell." Mr. Grenfell spent a brief period at New Plymouth early this year.
