BIG PART IN SCHOOLS

PHYSICAL TRAINING NEED
Christchurch, Sept. 24. Physical training is to assumc much greater importance in the lives of school children in the near future, according to the Minister of Education, the Hon. H. G. R. Mason, who returned to Christchurch to-day after an extensive tour of the South Island. Details of the scheme under consideration were not yet available, said the Minister, who predicted the developrnent of physical training on a scale that would completely overshadow all previous efforts. The instructors to undertake this work were now receiving special training.
