TO LEAVE NEXT WEEK 4TH REINFORCEMENTS TRENTHAM TROOP TRAIN

Arrangements for the departure next week of 300 Taranaki members of the fourth reinforcements for Trentham, Burnham and Papakura military camps have been completed and details have been released by the Army Department. Those for Burnham and Papakura will leave on Wednesday, October 2. These drafts are not so large as that for Trentham and they will travel by the^ mail train, leaving New Plymouth at 8.25 a.m. The men for Papakura will connect with the Auckland train at Marton. Speeial Trentham Train. The draft for Trentham will travel by a speeial train the foliowing day, Thursday, October 3. The New Plymouth draft will parade at the Coronation hall at a time to be advised later. The speeial train will leave New Plymouth at 6.48 a.m. and will observe the following timetable: Lepperton 7.10, Inglewood 7.30, Stratford 8.02, Eltham 8.14, Hawera 8.45, Patea 9.23 and Waverley 9.46. A train will leave Waitara at 6.30. Men from Waitotara and Maxwell will travel by a slcw train, leaving Waitotaia at 9.30 and Maxwell at 9.57, to join the main troop train at Aramoho. The train is due at Wellington at 4.49 p.m. and will arrive at Trentham at approximately 6.30. Issue of Clothing. Changes have been made in the gear to be taken to camp by the recruits. This formerly included an extra pair of boots, a woollen sweater, a change of underclothing and several pairs of woollen socks. These will not now be «ecessary, as on arrival at camp recruits are to be issued with two sets of underclothing, "iree pairs of socks, two pairs of boots and a woollen vest. Recruits are advised to take only the clothes that they are wearing as well as the necessary articles of toilet and cleaning gear.
