PERSONAL
Mrs. C. A. Taylor, New Plymouth, has been appointed to represent the New Plymouth Red Cross Society on the Dominion committee of the V.A.D. Council. Constable T. H. Waite, Wanganui, has been advised of his transfer to Taumarunui. Constable H. Smith, Taumarunui, will be stationed at Raurimu, and Constable J. A. D'U. Temple will be transferred from Raurimo to Northcote, Auckland. The Hon. D. G. Sullivan, Minister of Railways and Industries and Commerce will visit Stratford to-morrow. He will receive a deputation from the Stratford Chamber of Commerce on various matters at 9.30 in the morning. The Stratford chamber has aske.i the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce to send represenatives to support their requests. The Taranaki chamber has agreed and represenatives will be present.
