KIDNAPPED CHILD
GERMAN ALIEN ARRESTED Rec. 12.15 a.m. Los Angeles, Sept. 22. It is officially announoed that the kidnapped Mark de Tristan, three-year-old son of a prominent resident of Hillsborough, Count de Tristan, is safe. The kidnapper, who confessed to the crlme, has been identified as Wilhelm Jakos Muhlenbroidh, a German alien who entered the United States via Vancouver in 1935. Two unknown persons who kidnapped the child left a ransom note demanding 100,000 dollars, stated an earlier message from Hillsborough. 1
