MANAIA SCOUTS' LOSS

At the weekly parade of the Manaia Boy Scouts held at the band hall occasion was taken to farewell Scoutmaster D. G. Hayter, who is going to camp with the rank of corporal. Corporal Hayter has been scoutmaster for several years. Scout Heatherlev presented him with a box of handkerchiefs. On behalf of the cubs Sixer Bennett made a presentation. Mr. Whelan. cubmaster, who since his arrival at Manaia 12 months ago has taken an active interest in the Cubs, is also going to camp.
