The anniversary of the Whareroa Method ist Sunday school was held yesterday, when Ihe annual service in eonjunct'ion with the anniversary was attcndod by a large number of parents and pupils. The supcrintcndent. Mrs. W. Oliver, reportecl briefly on the work of the school and the Rev. G. F. Stockwell after an address to the parents and children conveved to the teachers the good wishes of the Hawera congregation. Recitations and singing were given by the children. Athol Hague gave a cornet solo. Prizes were presented hy Mrs. Stockwell. who complimented the children on their rennering o£ hymns and spiritual songs.
