MANAIA RED CROSS WORK
At a meeting of the Manaia Red Cross branch. at which Mrs. A. G. Bennett presir'ed. arrnngements were discussed for the 15 successful candidates of the first aid cxaminnlion to take lcctures on hygicne and sanitation. Mrs. McKay was nppointed to finalise arrangements. As the branch's one effort for the year to provide social funds. it was decided to linld a dance. Mesdames J. Manson and J. Christie wero clectcd the branch s rcpresentatives to confer with the St. John Ambulance Division, Legion of Frontiersmen and firemen in connection with national emergency precautions matters.
