WAVERLEY
Mrs. P. English and Mrs. W. R. S. Brewer visited Hastings recently. Mrs. McArthur, who had been on holiday, returned to Waverley on Friday. Mrs. J. Coutts left on Saturday to spend a holiday at Auckland. Miss J. Bilton, who visited her mother, Mrs. F. Bilton, returned to Wellington on Saturday. Mrs. Nichol, Ashburton, who has been staying with her sister, Mrs. P. V. Graves, will return to her home to-day. Mrs. Cleaver, New Plymouth, is spending severay days at Waverley with her daughter, Mrs. F. McKenna,
