J. Pease was the winner of the Anderson cup final, beating W. G. Sutton 3 and 2. Second round matehes were played in the championships and resulted:— Senior: W. G. Sutton beat E. Billington 3 and 2. Intermediate: W. P. McAnerin beat W. S. Gibson 3 and 2, J. C. Buist beat J. C. Robb 6 and 5. Junior: D. Reilly beat R. H. Leece 2 up. Limit, semi-final: R. J. Keys beat D. McCormick 5 and 3.
