RANDWICK RACE EVENTS
Received 6.30 p.m. Sydney, Sept. 22. Races at Randwick . on Saturday resulted: — ROSEHILL GUINEAS. TIDAL WAVE, 8.5 (Bartle) 1 PANDECT, 8.5 (Cook) 2 LUCRATIVE, 8.5 (McCarten) 3 All started. Tidal Wave finished strongly over the last furlong and won by half a neck, with Lucrative a neck away third. Time, lm 55jS. HILL STAKESBEAU VITE, 9.0 (McManemin) 1 HIGH CASTE, 9.0 (Bartle) 2 BUZALONG, 9.0 (Shean) 3 All started.
Beau Vite and High Caste together led the field all the v/ay. Though • High Caste was in charge at the beginning Beau Vite wore him down and won by 1| lengths. Four lengths separated second and third. Time, lm 392s. ^ Yours Truly was unplaced in the Red Cross Cup, and Nightbeam in the A.I.F. Handicap.
