RAN INTO MOVING CAR

STRATFORD BOY INJURED Running into the path of a moving car in Opunake Road, Stratford, late yesterday afternoon, Walter Bond, a six-year-old boy received slight concussion which necessitated his admission to the Stratford hospital. The accident occurred when the boy and his brother were driven home in a car by Mr. Percy Smith, Opunake Road, Stratford. The car had stopped outside the boy's home in Opunake Road, when Walter ran around the rear of it and came into contact with the side of a car driven up the road in a westerly direction by Mr. N. Johnson, Lowgarth. The boy was not run over, but he was thrown sharply down to the road surface. His condition was reported last night to be satisfactory.
