STRATFORD QUOTATIONS Except for the customary fluctuations in auction rates for poultry, there were few changes in Stratford market rates during the week. One or two seasonal lines, such as Australian grapefruit. disappeared from the fruit market. Yesterday's quotations were: — Fruit: Apples, 3s 9d to 5s half bushel, 6s to 12s 6d a bushel, 3d to 5d lb; bananas, 6d lb; pears, 8d lb; lemons, 2s dozen; oranges, 2s, 2s 6d and 3s dozen; New Zealand grapefruit, 4 and 5 Is; Island tomatoes, ls 2d lb. Vegetables: Potatoes, 81b ls; cabbages, 4d to 8d each; spring cabbage, 4d to 8d cach; lettuce, 3d and 4d each; kumeras, 6d lb'; oriions, 41b for ls; cauliflowers, 6d to ls 6d; celery, 8d to ls a head; beetroot, 3d a bundle; parsnips, 3d a bundle; carrots, 3d a bundle; pumpkins, 3d lb.
