Eric Blore, Victor Jory, Warren Hull and Roger Pryor head the supporting cast. Starring Richard Arlen and Andy Devine with fast action, comedy and rugged dramatic scenes, the Universal picture, "Hot Steel," is the associate feature. Anne Nagel portrays a menacing "flirt' in the film and Peggy Moran is seen as the young girl who captures the attention of Arlen from her rival. Others include Donald Briggs, Joe Besser and Robert Emmet O'Connor. Most of the action of the story takes place in a giant steel mill and there are several violent fight scenes, which build up to an unexpected climax, in which a mill worker falls headlong into a vat of white hot liquid steel.
