MEREMERE PARTY HELD
Residents. and friends met in the Meremere hall to celebrate the coining-of-age of Mr. Alislair Dunlop, Euchre occupied the early part of Ihe evening, tlie winners being Mrs. Ridge and Mr. J. Bloor. Supper was serveil by Mesdames A. Williams, J. Bloor and M. McNaught. Dancing was en.ioycd. Mr. A. E. Williams expressed Ihe congvatulations of all present to the guest of honour. A cake was marle and given by Mr. and Mrs. McNaught. The cake was decorated with a bomber, Mr. Dunlop leaving to join the air fnrce shortly. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr. W. Dunlop and partner. Mr. W. Williams was master of ceremonies
