— ■ — — A dance organised by the Pihama combined hockey clubs held in the public hall iri aid of the Spitfire fund was a success, over £25 being taken. The masters of ceremony were Messrs. Doug. and Les Forsyth. Extrss were played hy Mr. Des George and others. Monte Carlo dances were won by Miss J. Forest and Mr. J. Scott, and Miss Mavis Campbell and Mr. Les Forsyth. A competition was won by Mr. H. Sturgeon.
