FINAL SCREENING.
OPERA HOUSE COMEDY. Highlights of the Gracie Fields picture "Shipyard Sallv," which will be shown finally at the Opera House, Hawera, lonight, are her singing of a number of j old favourites such as_ "Danny Boy,' "Annie Laurie" and "Wish Me Luck as You Wave Me Good-bye," while she also dances and sings to_ American swingtime in a number "I've Got the Jitter- | bugs." The story is set in the great i shipbuilding centre of Great Britain— I Clvdebank. The film opens with Queen i Elizabeth christening and launching the huge ship named for her. But soon, for reasons of economy, the Government puts a halt to the building, and with idle yards distress visits the once pros- i perous town. The workers send Gracie i to London with a petition, and this em- j barks her on a series of adventures , teeming with hilarity. Added attractions in the first half of the perf ormance are I another of the popular March of Time series, "Metropolis of New York, and the antics of the veteran fun-maker Andy Clyde.
