NEW PLYMOUTH
Miss Ethel Law. national general secretary of the Y.W.C.A. for New Zealand, has arrived from Wellington to attend the annual general meeting of the New Plymouth Y.W.C.A. Miss Law is the guest of Mrs. A. Alexander. Mrs. Noel Robson has arrived from Dunedin to live at New Plymouth. Mrs. I. Gallon returned to Masterton on Tuesday after spending a holiday at New Plymouth with her sister, Mrs. Ian MacDonald. Mrs. L. Larsen, Westport, who spent several weeks at New Plymouth as the guest of Mrs^>A. H. Henderson, left yesterday for Auckland. Mrs. Nicholas, who visited her daughter, Mrs. A. A. Burgess, has returned to Mangatoki. Miss K. Scotter has returned from a visit to Wellington. Mrs. C. Cooper has returned to New Plymouth from Cambridge. The weekly afternoon of the patriotic bridge circle was held on Tuesday in the Alexander Hall, when Mrs. C. Fyfe and Miss V. Christiansen were the hostesses. A resolution of sympathy with Mrs. W. J. Reading in her bereavement was passed. A competition was won by Mrs. T. A. Ford.
