Prime Minister's Thanks.
"Many thanks for your letter and the resolution conveyed therein," stated a telegram received yesterday from the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, by the acting-secretary of the Stratford Patriotic Committee, Mr. W. F. Ross. The telegram referred- to the resolution sent on to the Prime Minister from a recent meeting of the patriotic committee. The resolution was: "That we ask the Government to place on record our appreciation of the courage of the children who were aboard the ship on their way from England recently when torpedoed by a German submarine."
