Madeleine Carroll is starred with Douglas Fairbanks jnr. and Tullio Carminati in "Safari," Paramount's latest romantic picture. Filmed against the background of an African big-game hunt, "Safari' tells the story of a girl who sets out to get her man— and winds up pitting two men against each other for her love. The filny. is replete with thrilling action sceries— raging jungle beasts, weird African voodoo rites and exciting chases by land and air of big game. The supporting cast includes Muriel Ange^is, Lynne Overman and Billy Gilbert. "The Great Victor Herbert." Allan . Jones, who shares' starring with Mary Martin and Walter Connolly in Paramount's musical romance, "The Great Victor Herbert," has appeared in some of the screen's best melody pictures. Among them are, "Show Boat," "Rose Marie," "The Firefly," and "Everybody Sing." Jones' role in "The Great Victor Herbert' is that of a turn-of-the-century matinee idol who finds fame in Victor Herbert's operettas and romance with the most popular leading lady of the day. In the supporting cast are Lee Bowman, Susanna Foster, Jerome Cowan and I Judith Barrett.
