A letter has been received by the Hawera Hospital Board from Miss E. M. Nutsey, a former matron of the hospital, thanking the board for the congratulations and best wishes extended to her on her appointment to the position of Matron-General to the 2nd N.Z.E.F. The death occurred at Auckland hospital recently of Mr. H. S. (Harry) Wright, of Argyle Avenue, Papakura and late of Taranaki and Matamata. Mr. Wright was a well-known Taranaki farmer for many years residing in the Kapuni and 'Jokaora districts. He leaves a widow, two sons and six daughters, Messrs. Ashley Wright (Matamata) and Sefton Wright (Okoroire) being the sons and Mesdames Ben Bloor (Manaia), J. Beck (Auckland), G. Webb (Matamata). H. Smith (Ramarama), E. Naylor (Helensville) and Miss A. Wright (Okoroire) are daughters.
