BOMBING ACCIDENT

JAPANESE APOLOGISE Rec. 6.30 p.m. Tokio, Sept. 14. The Admiralty announced to-day that naval fliers accidentally dropped a test bomb on the Canadian liner Empress of Asia, injuring four of the Chin'ese crew. The navy sent surgeons aboard and apologised. The purser said no structural damage was done and the Empress of Asia continued her voyage to Vancouver.
