TOKO GENERAL NEWS

A small parcel of clothing was collected at a recent meeting of the Toko Lady Galway Guild. Mrs. Lamplough is relieving teacher at the Toko school in the absence of the head teacher Mr. McNab who is ill. Miss Zelda Lawrence, who spent her vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Lawrence, has returned to New Plymouth. Mrs. Butter, Auckland, is visiting her daughter-in-law, Mrs. John Butter, Standish-.Road. Major Urquhart has left for military camp. Mrs. Palmer is visiting Wanganui. Mrs. D. Clemow is spending a holiday at New Plymouth, Waitara and Urenui. Miss Jean Clemow, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Clemow, has returned to New Plymouth. Miss Knowles, Tariki, is the guest of Mrs. G. W. Kilsby. Mrs. Petch, senr.. is,a visitor to Toko. Miss Rene Mfirtin has returned from Wellington.
