AUCKLAND THEFT CHARGE
Auckland, Last Night. A clerk, Phyllis Olive Barnett, aged 30, in the police court was charged that on April 26 last, being a clerk in the employ of Robert Urquhart, she stole £996, the property of Robert Urquhart. Detective-Sprgeant Walsh, who said Barnett was arrested this morning, asked for a remand until next Thursday. Barnett was remanded on bail in two sureties each of £200.
