Italian Troops Move. Italian troops are moving towards the Egyptian frontier. Berlin Again Raided. Berlin has been raided again, many incendiary bombs falling during the 92 minutes British planes were overhead. Canada's War Production. Canada is becoming a vast armament production factory for Britain, according to figures given by the Minister of Supply. Germany Preparing Invasion. Germany is preparing ships all along the coast of occupied territory around Britain for an invasion, according to Mr. Churchill. Bomb in Palace Grounds. Considerable damage was done to Buckingham Palace, from which the King and Queen were absent, by a de-layed-action bomb. Invasion Attempt Revealed. Letters to French residents of the United States from Nazi-occupied France reveal a German attempt to land troops in England in August. Harbours Pounded. Ostend and Calais harbours have been pounded for hours by planes of the Royal Air Force in an eff ort to hamper enemy attempts at an invasion. Naval Bombardment. Strong and repeated action is being taken by British light naval forces against German shipping movements, ports and concentrations of shipping. London Strikes Back. London hit back at German raiders with the most intense anti-aircraft barrage ever heard, and as a result casualties were far fewer and damage much smaller than on previous nights.
