HAWERA OPERA HOUSE. A sparkling potpourri of popular new melodies springs from Bing Crosby. Dorothy Lamour and Bob Hope in Para■mount's fun-filled safari into the South Seas, "Road to Singapore," which will open to-night at the Opera House, Hawera. Once asain Paramount has called upon Johnny Bitrke and James V. Monaco to write a goodly portion of the tunes. Their work for this picture includes "Too Romantic," which has al-. ready been a.ired many times. "Sweet Potato Piper," a swingy novelty tune, and "Kaigoon," the number to which LeRoy Prinz's dancing girls perform. The other two nunibsrs heard in the picture are the work of Johnny Burke and Victor Schertzinger, versatile director of the picture. Thcv are "Captain Custnrd" and "The Moon and the Willow Tree." '"Road to Singapore" finds Bing and Bob singing their merry wny to the South Scns to get away from the - girls. However. they run i"to Dorothy Lamour and fall in love with her,
