PATEA COURT CHARGE In the Patea Magistrate's Court yesterday Francis Mortimer McCarthy was fined £2 ls, costs £1 8s 4d, by Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., for permitting cattle to wander upon the main road other than in the course of driving stock. He pleaded guilty through Mr. F. W. Hamel. The traffic inspector, Mr. C. J. As soon as they were found to be missing he sent a man out after them, but as they had wandered seven miles it took some time to find them.
