WOMEN'S DIVISION
Strathmore-Tc Wera: The monthly meeting was held at Te Wera at Mrs. Smith's home, Mrs. E. Coulton presiding. The monthly competition went to Mrs. Meek 1, Mrs. H. Mayo and Mrs. R. Moasen equal 2, judges being Mrs. Wills and Mrs. D. Yandle. A wandering shilling was won by Mrs. I. West. A donation of £2 has been given to the W.D.F.U. Spitfire fund. The monthly competition resulted in a good collection of children s clothing,. there being about 20 garments of various sizes. Mrs. Rule was welcomed. Mesdames D. Yandle and O'Neill were hostesses. Matau: Mrs. Rawlinson presided over a good attendance at ffie September meeting, which decided to send 10s to the leper fund and to have a bazaar in November for patriotic funds. A competition for which Miss I. McCoard gave a prize was won by Mrs. W. Rawlinson and team. The wandering shilling was won by Mrs. W. McCoard. Hostesses were Mrs. R. Rawlinson and Miss W/ McCoard.'
