FORSYTH—WORLEY
A wedding of interest at Hawera, where the bride lived until recently, was that of Elisabeth Joyce, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Worley, Wellington, to Ian Fredrick, youngest son of Mr. W. E. Forsyth and the late Mrs. Forsyth, Wellington, which took place on July 6 at Johnsonville, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. Scarron. Miss Sloane played the organ. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a slim-fitting gown of ivory satin, with corsage spray of orange blossom, a full court train and fitted sleeves mitred at the wrists. Her billowing veil I was appliqued with sprays of flowers and horseshoes, arranged from a top-knot of white gardenias. Spring blossoms and^ freesias, with fern formed her bouquei. and she wore a quadruple string of pearls. In attendance was Miss Olive Worley, sister of the bride, whose frock was of pastel green angelskin lace, made with V-neck, puff sleeves and a contrasting corsage spray. Her green net veil fell from a top-knot of pink primroses and pink carnations and rosebuds formed her bouquet. Mr. Eric Forsyth, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. A reception was held at the home of the bridegroom's father, where yellow and orange Iceland poppies were used for decoration. Mrs. Worley wore a navy ensemble with fur stole, and shoulder spray of dark red cyclamen blooms. Miss L. Forsyth had chosen a dahlia costume, with black accessories, fur stole and spray of violets and freesias. The bride travelled in a blue costume, with white blouse under a black coat, with all black accessories. Mr. and Mrs. Ian Forsyth will live at Johnsonville.
