COSMOPOLITAN APPEAL.
KING'S DOUBLE ATTRACTION. A musical that will appeal to opera iovers and swing addicts alike, "Everybody Sing" will head a double bill to be shown at the King's Theatre, Stratford, to-night. Allan Jones and Judy Garland, the singing chef and the swinging schoolgirl, are outstanding in their singing, dancing and aciing. No less enthusiastic will the audience be in appreciation of the comedy work of Fanny Brice, Reinald Owen, Billie Burke, Reginald Gardiner and Lynne Carver. Maisie (Ann Sothcrn) vies with Ruth Hussey for the much sought after affections of Robert Young in the new Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film "Maisie," the second attraction. The story of the film centres around a vaudeville showgirl who finds herself Btranded in a Wyoming carnival town and how she meets up with Robert Young, who portrays the manager of a cattle ranch. Included in the cast of the new film are Ian Hunter and Cliff Edwards.
